For David:
We are using www.k12.com for Math, History and Science
Currently using Kindergarten level for Math, studying the continents (already visited Australia and now on Europe) in History, and just finishing the 5 senses in Science and will be studying the body next.
We are using www.funnix.com for Reading
Already reading and writing several words. Getting a feel for phonics. Will probably add K12's program in the fall, after we finish more of the funnix.
We are using www.abcmouse.com for general skills and games to practice
Lots of games and activities, as well as songs and they award tickets (like Chuck E. Cheese), which the students can then use to buy things like fish for he classroom aquarium. It has thousands of activities to do, which is great. I would rather have David on this than the Wii!
I use freebie pages for handwriting and of course, David does Martial Arts for physical education
Has learned to write his name and is learning how to write many other letters. Slow going, but I have learned to rephrase questions and he seems to get things easier then. Funnix program works on writing letters as he learns them as well.
For Lexi:
About to start Lexi on http://www.handsonhomeschooling.com/ for age level 3
Excited, since I can use some of it with David as well. Buying the age level 5 too, hoping I can use for David and some of the activities for the kids at the school!
